Replay Module

The Replay module allows you to view historical trips made by your fleet's vehicles keeping you up-to-date with every movement.

Overview​

The Replay page allows you to revisit past vehicle movements with detailed filters for precise analysis. By leveraging this feature, you can:

  1. Replay Past Movements: Visualize historical routes and gain insights into vehicle behavior.
  2. Filter by Vehicle and Time Period: Focus on specific vehicles and timeframes to narrow down your analysis.
  3. Analyze Routes and Events: Evaluate routes taken and associated events to identify opportunities for improvement.

This tool is essential for enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring your fleet adheres to desired performance standards.

Module Components​

Filtering Section​

The filtering section provides an intuitive interface to narrow down the data:

  1. Device Dropdown: Select the specific device you want to analyze.
  2. Time Period Dropdown: Choose from predefined options such as:
    • Today
    • Yesterday
    • Three Days Ago
    • A Week Ago
    • A Month Ago
    • Custom Time. (select a start and end date)
  3. Refresh Button: After selecting the device and time period, click the refresh button to fetch the relevant data.

Filter Section

Map​

After fetching the data, the map displays a clear visualization of the selected device’s historical movements:

  1. Colored Lines: Represent trips taken during the selected period.If multiple trips are available each one of them will be displayed in a unique color for ease of viewing.
  2. Trip Start and End Points: Marked clearly for quick identification.
  3. Data Points: A point appears every 50 records, providing a detailed route breakdown. To view the data just hover of the displayed point on the route line.

Point Info Card​

Hover over any point on the map to view additional information:

  1. Description: Includes details like the exact location, speed, and timestamp.
  2. Enabled IOs: Displays the status of enabled input/outputs for the vehicle at that specific point.

Troubleshooting​

  1. Verify that the correct time period is chosen.
  2. Refresh the page to reload data.

  4. Easily preview multiple trips color coded with unique colors.
  5. Easily identify trips, stops, starting point, and ending point for each historical trip.
