Alerts Module

The Alerts module helps you stay alert to critical events as well as allowing you to preview historical events and alerts.

Overview​

The Alerts Module provides real-time monitoring of critical events across your fleet. With over 200 types of alerts, such as over-speeding, harsh braking, and geofence violations, you can stay informed and respond immediately.

With the Alerts page, you can:

  • Monitor Real-Time Alarms: View alerts as they occur, ensuring quick response times.
  • Access Full Alert History: Review and analyze past alerts to identify trends and improve fleet safety.
  • Detailed Event Information: Each alert includes comprehensive details such as timestamp, location, and device info.

Module Components​

Alerts Tab​

This section displays active alerts that have not been dismissed. The items provided here are counted and the number is displayed on in the nav-bar above the Alerts Module link as a notification to grab attention to the existing alerts.

Each alert appears as a card, showing:

  1. Device name and default image.
  2. Timestamp and location of the event record.
  3. Severity level and event details as per the record.

History Tab​

The Alerts History section contains a detailed table listing all past alerts, allowing for:

  1. Easy search and filtering of previous events.
  2. Reviewing trends to improve response strategies.

Advanced Features​

Viewing Alert Location​

  1. Click View Location on an alert card or View Location on Map in the history table.
  2. A map will open, displaying the exact location of the alert with a marker.
